About the Tunes Database
The Tunes Database is simply a collection of information about pieces of music I've collected throughout they years. It's always been a part of Musica Viva's supporting structure. Eventually I decided it might be of use to others as well, so here it is!
Tunes and works
Musica Viva includes a Works Database as well as this Tunes Database and the differences between te two are rather subtle:
- The Tunes database lists tunes
- The Works database lists specific versions of a tune
If you get it wrong, there's no big problem. The two databases are throughly interlinked and the info you are looking for will only be a single extra mouseclick away.
