High resolution prints and downloads
Sheet music printed from Musica Viva is fully readable, but I'll be the first to admit it's not very pretty.Besides, you can't download the music, just print it out right from the site.
The PDF (Acrobat) files available to subscribers correct both these problems. You can get prints as good as - or even better than - published books (depending on your printer, of course) and you can download the files and store them on your own computer if you like.
(At the moment 14059 of the titles at Musica Viva are available in PDF format with more added almost every day.)
No banner advertisements
As a subscriber you can deactivate the ads at Musica Viva if you want to (I know there are people who don't like them ;-)Folkband

How to subscribe
Musica Viva accepts payments through both PayPal and through Kagi, two of the oldest and most respected internet payment services. Through PayPal you can pay with any major credit card, or you can charge your PayPal account. Kagi accepts all major credit cards and also checks, mney orders and cash payments. Noth services accepts payments in US dollar, Canadian dollar, Euro, British pound, and Japanese Yen. Kagi also accepts payments in Australian dollars.At the moment all subscribers have to be registered manually. This shouldn't take more than 24 hours if you pay by credit card, but there are times when delays can't be avoided.
If you pay cash or by cheque of money order registration will take longer, of course.
